First ANNE rehearsal tonight.
I'm not at all shy to say that I'm not too giddy to the rim since and because the first 2 weeks will be strictly blocking. Not that I'm whining about it at all, but blocking rehearsals are not always the most interesting. However, once I have the blocking it'll make things much easier to memorize in the script...
Let me explain:
Normally the way I memorize things is by putting actions or movements are something physical with them. This explains for why it took me forever and a day to get off book for Connecticut Yankee even though my lines were fewer then in, say, Sleeping Beauty. The good part of my lines in the play were said from behind a desk, and really... Not too much blocking to go on there. Uhm.
So I am happy that ANNE is now underway. I was becoming scared that I may have to get involved with CHS theater as a substitute. And while I DO love chs theater...I like the playhouse better, and I'm, again, not shy to say.
Gus came to see me after school today, and Sophia text me and and I told her I'd be at school tomorrow. It's crazy how off everything gets when you leave for a just a couple days.
Working concessions for Dracula this weekend, and Gus and I are going to go see it Friday. I would just tell Gus that we should go Sat(which is when I'm working concessions) instead of Fri but Derek has already two seat reserved for Fri.
Oh Well. I guess I'll just have to watch Boris die twice.
*tortured sigh*
