*Gets back from seeing LotR:RotK*

I wonder if Gimili ever gets his own horse to ride...

That movie (lotR:RotK), oddly, gets better every time I see it. Sat the allllll the way through the credits this time....Was long...

Good news: I have the LotR:RotK sound track
Bad News: Have to wait to get it until my birthday (6-7 days)

I hate, how, while I'm sitting in the movie I keep coming up with all these off hand comments that I kept telling myself to remember so then I could go home and post them here...And of course I remember none, or very few of them. And the few that I can remember, I don't remember the point behind them.

One point I did want to comment on is the part where the beacons of aid are being lit on fire... And all over the place just piles of logs are going up into flame, even on snowy mountain tops where it doesn't even look like there would be a village/hamlet within a 100 mile radius, much less a group of guys sitting up there...And yet something sets the beacons on fire. In this, I am then left to assume that, in fact, there are men sitting on these snowy/desolate mountain tops day after day after day with little torches of fire, waiting for the day that one of the other beacons will go off. And What would happen if they needed to light the beacons and it was raining? And why Didn't Sarumon think to disable these beacons in the beginning?
I also wonder why, when Aragorn goes into the mines, and it's just him, Gimili, and Legelos the damned ghost king has to bring out his entire damned ghost army to kill just those three guys. Unless you assume that the damned Ghost king knows that it is Aragorn, in which case he would never try to have hit Aragorn with his [damned ghost] sword in the first place.
...And why the hell is pippen so cute?!?!

made a decision half way into the movie that Sean Astin is one of my all time favorite actors...yes.

CAN NOT wait to see the commentary to the third LotR movie. Also watched PotC t'day. Again. I think I like Orlando bloom better in that movie.
Gr, as I was sitting through the credits, a group of (actually just two) blondes got up and walked out saying "If it wasn't for Orlando Bloom I'd never come see these movie's." and a whole bunch of comments along those lines....erg. I dunno...Just, erg.

Ah, "Whose line" is gonna be on soon.
